Unable to turn off display in galaxy A70.

I am using samsumg galaxy A70 phone. Today I got notification for software update. After updating the same I am not able to turn off display. When I press power key button than automatically lock screen come. Display is not turning off. Kindly suggest what to do.

Check your screen timeout time (in Settings > Display > Advanced > Sleep. It should be shorter than the lockscreen timeout. (The usual setting is 30 seconds.)

Check your notification tray to see if the USB connection is going crazy.

I am having his exact problem, which started a couple of days ago. It basically makes the phone unusable as a mobile so if there is no fix soon it will be going back!

So I cleaned the usb connector with Isopropyl alcohol and the notification tray still shows disconnection / reconnection every few seconds. As this seems to be related to the update mentioned by AndrewTanner, is it possible to roll this back?

Set the phone so pressing the power switch does NOT lock the phone. It's in Settings > Screen Lock - the settings for the lock - Power button instantly locks.

I fixed it. I changed the Charging Port. Be careful on removing Back Cover, it want some skills. Also You might order 2-3 Charging Ports because sometimes it won't find signal.
