Android Central Question

I am a developer, and I found an Android ISO. I would like to make Android think it has a SIM card in it and change all the details about said fake SIM card, without any actual SIM card. I would also like to make Android think it is running on the latest Google Pixel so the custom Android gets updates. Any ideas, help?

Hi, if you can make a account here , not aware of anything like you mentioned.

That's not quite how it works. When you have a custom OS build any updates for that build have to come from that developer. If you trick it into thinking it has a Pixel to get the Pixel updates you end up with a Pixel OS version and don't have your custom build anymore IF it even works. Android is VERY different from Windows when it comes to updates.

For what purpose?

@Mike Dee (sorry if this isn't how you reply, im new here) I am making a custom Android setup for computers, and I am trying to make Android think it has a SIM card based off a network, but the other networks name is something else. That way when you swipe down, where it would typically say the name of the network, it would say a custom text string.

I don't think you can do it without extreme programing knowledge and as stated by someone else any OS update would overwrite your work.
