A few months ago Google Maps (GM) started to give notification of speed cameras as one neared them. Not all such, only those it knew/been advised about.
The notification consisted of an icon on the map, a "bong", and a voice alert. I've noticed in the past 3 or 4 weeks(?) that I no longer get the voice alert, the icon and bong are still there. I still get the vocal directions.
I'm not aware of having changed any settings on my phone, either to GM or to the phone itself.
Any thoughts on what I may have done, however inadvertently, or something else that's happened?
