So my phone was working fine, but then it started acting up, (which is normal as it is pretty old,) so i restarted it, like i usually do. Then all of a sudden after restarting it, every time I try to type, my keyboard doesn't open. This has never happened before. I have a Samsung Galaxy Go Prime. I read on some other websites that the thing to do is clear the keyboard app's cache, or restarting it and letting it refresh itself would work, but for me neither were successful. Does this mean I have to factory reset? Or is it time to get a new one?

Try a Cache Partition wipe. Tell us if no go.
