Virus checker flaged com.tct.gapp.middleman from an unknown source that will not uninstall. It has all possible phone permissions and more. I have disabled apps that keep restarting, like Bluetooth, Print Spooler, Browser, Radio, sound recorder. the last two I can not disable.

There is no such thing as an "android" SIM card.

SIM cards are by the carrier and are generally device agnostic - except for the size and band compatibility.

Welcome to the forums. I couldn't find any info on that specific process, but I did find this article about another invasive app from the same developers/Alcatel.

To be honest, Alcatel isn't one of the major brands, so I wouldn't be surprised if your issue is similar to that one. If I were you, I think I'd factory reset the phone and get rid of it. Go with one of the major name brands and they'll be less likely to have pre-installed infections (and will remove them if found).

I would also suggest changing all your account passwords, but only after you've stopped using this phone. Otherwise those new passwords could be at risk as well.

Alcatel became notorious for replacing a bunch of its basic apps (like Gallery) with atrocious ones that included adware: https://beebom.com/alcatel-installin...d-apps-adware/. Unacceptable.

If you like the Android, there's many other brands that are reputable. Samsung is the most popular, but also LG, HTC, Motorola are fine.

    Maybe look beyond Walmart first.

That's like saying you're buying a Maserati next time because the Yugo just didn't make you happy.

There are many more capable options in-between.

Not saying the iPhone isn't good, it is for what it limits you to. Just do a bit of research first.
