What do i do when my lg g4 plus gets stuck on firmware update during rooting process?

I was rooting my lg g4 and it was 65% when a firmware update popped up and now its stuck . It reads633E B50 official/E/L/RO

Good point. The fact that the OP mentioned it being 65% complete also makes me think they are using something like Kingroot, which is known to steal your info. Proper rooting doesn't give you a progress bar (unless during a file transfer from pc to phone, perhaps).

@Galactic Zoo, may brick it (usually does, but some phones have survived. Crippled, but survived enough to reflash the ROM.)

@Mooncatt, rooting with Magisk sort of does, it shows you the Linux screen as the binary is installing. (That, of course, would be fixable by reflashing the boot.img file, because that's all Magisk touches. And it can be disabled, the phone updated, then Magisk reflashed, very easily - and it leaves all the "allow root access" entries intact.)
