Why is my screen flickering?

So whenever my phone's screen is turned off the bottom half starts flickering green-ish for some reason, it stops as soon as i turn the screen back on but resumes if turned off again for a while... could anyone be of any help?

Already backed it up, was just wondering what it was. It works completely fine when the screen is on and only flashes when i turn the phone off...

Not to my knowledge, even kept it in a protective case all the time just to be safe in the event that i did drop it. The flickering started randomly a week or two ago and just got more frequent over time, i also left it in safe mode for a while and it still happened there so i know it's not an app causing it.

Take it to a repair shop. It could be a loose connection or the screen is shot

Yeah sounds like the digitalizar and screen problem, it will need a repair shop.
