Charge it to about 50-60%, which is known as a storage charge and how they are shipped from the factory in case they sit on the warehouse shelf for months. This prevents the damage that can occur with high and low charge levels, and you should check on it every month or two to make sure it isn't going below 40%. Li-ion batteries self discharge, but a healthy battery may go that 5 month span with very little discharging.
If possible, store it in a cool environment. Putting it in an air tight bag with all the air sucked out, then stored in a refrigerator would be a great way to preserve it as well.
