How can we do UART serial communication in Android

I want to do UART serial communication with Android. Right now I'm using raspberry Pi 3 with Android things for serial communication but there are some limitations. So i want to use Android only.

Can anyone tell me, how can it be possible?

You'd need a USB to RS-232C converter plugged into the USB port. They're in the $10-$30 range. https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matter...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU6586384 is for a USB C port on the phone. (Depending on use, you bight also need a male-to-male adapter on the serial side.)
