File managers show phone 95% Full (Samsung S-6) but can't see why?

when connected to pc the file Explorer shows phone 95% full - 1GB free of 23.6GB.

when I look through all the folders and files, I can't come up with any reasonable explanation - I have my pictures going to an SD card. I don't do movies or music?

and of course nothing shows system files, but I used to have 4-5 FREE GB when I would remove my pictures. As I said, I now keep pictures on the SD card.

So what is making my phone RED - 95%???
