Android Central Question

At the bottom of some Android message texts with the same contact it says:
"Sun 8:07 p.m. (dot) Delivered"
Or
"Sun 8:07 p.m. (dot)"
I can't replicate the dot but it is grey, slightly larger than a regular period and in the centre of the line. Just wondering what the dot alone like the second one means

Thanks. I've registered.
Here are some screenshots. One says delivered, the other has just a dot. I'm wondering what that means

It's a separator between the day/time and the status. They could have used a dash too. If it hasn't been delivered, it's still there (which I think is a bit foolish, but I didn't develop the software).

Really surprised no one has an answer for this. If it helps all messages show a "dot delivered" when using messages for web. It's only on my android phone where the messages show a "dot delivered" or just a dot with nothing after.

Thanks I'm just interested in whether it means anything. Dot delivered obviously means the message was delivered but dot with nothing following? Did the recipient delete the message, archive it, copy it, forward it, do nothing? It's a mystery.
