Samsung Note 9. At one point, I texted two people with the same message by adding them under the recipients. I did not form a group or anything like that. Now every time I text the one person, it automatically goes to the second. However, I can text the second person individually. How do I unlink these guys?

Tried that. It literally shows that I am sending to one recipient until I hit send and then it comes up with two numbers that both get the message.

I've even taken it back to the store where I bought the phone and they couldn't figure it out. I have tried everything possible, including just backing up with Smart Switch and wiping the phone back to original factory settings. Then, I restored it hoping that something that had glitched was corrected. No changes.

Restore put it back how it was. Choose reset without restore.
I would delete both contacts, clear the cache partition and reboot, then readd the contacts and try again. Good luck
