Why isn't there a patch to fix Edge Lighting on the S10E

[Android Central Question]

Just got a S10e phone, not only did I lose my heart rate sensor, but i lost the notification light. I tried to get the Edge Lighting to work, but as I read from other and experienced myself, it will only work with some apps. Samsung needs to fix this so it works with all apps, or replace our phones with notification lights. Where I work, I can't always have the sound on, so I am responding to messages late.

We're not Samsung. I suggest that you make a complaint to them, and advise any others with the same problem to do the same. 10,000 posts here have less effect on Samsung than one email to them.
