Recently got a new Razor Phone 2.

Does not seem to come with a default music player. Tried downloading other 3rd party music players and continued to get error.
    "operation handler failed java.lang.illegalstateexception"

Music works on my other phone and the computer.

    Any idea?

Downloaded music players, or installed them using Play. It sounds as if you're downloading music players not made to run on your phone. Play won't do that.

No, the 3rd party apps are from the Google Play Store. That's where I am getting error when I attempt to play a downloaded song.

Welcome to Android Central! So the music player apps are installing successfully, but you're getting this error when trying to play specific music files? What format are the music files in, mp3? Where did you get the mp3 files from?

If your phone rooted or otherwise modified?
