    Hi,

If I created an account on the Instagram app and then logged off and deleted all app data in settings is the account username or password information stored anywhere else on the phone?

I deleted app data a day ago

Also would that data be retrievable on a logical extraction? Or physical?

Thanks in advance for any information

Once you log out they cant get back in unless they have your login password and user name .

When you delete anything in a phone (or any computer), all you're doing is marking its directory entry "deleted" instead of "active", and marking the space it was stored in "available" instead of "in use". the data stays in storage. If someone wanted to really dig into storage, everything would still be there. That's why apps like iShredder™ 6 Military were developed. (It costs $8.99, but in this case it might have been worth it.) It overwrites the space where the app was, enough that there's nothing recoverable - no app, no data, just random bits.
