    Hi
I have a SM-T813 (galaxy tab s2) running the latest version of android 7.0 that doesn’t want to connect or even detect our home WiFi. It will connect via WiFi with other devices like a phone Hotspot, and sometimes, at random, detect and connect to our home network (which is running through a TP-Link DSL 225)
I’ve tried different solutions with no success yet
    Thanks ahead

Have you tried putting in safe mode? , this will turn off 3rd party apps to see if any of those interfering.

Have you tried rebooting your WiFi router? Does it work at other WiFi spots ,?

It’s working with every other device I have - phones, pc, Mac, smart tv. So I don’t think it’s the router

Ok gotcha, might have to do a factory reset ,if you do that just make sure everything backed up on your tablet.

No I can see any other WiFi network in the building other than my own. Starting to think maybe this tablet stopped working with just one specific connectivity protocol which happens to be the same one my router’s working on

I'm thinking it's the router even though it see your other devices , can you switch between 2.4hz and 5?

It only runs 2.4Ghz and tbt I’m having it replaced soon due to repeated connectivity problems(but it still works most of the time on all my other devices)

I'm suspecting that as the other things you went through and tried didn't make a difference.

Even though other devices work fine on the router, the router could still be the problem. It's still worth rebooting the router by unplugging its power for 30 seconds. If that doesn't help, see this guide for other ideas: http://forums.androidcentral.com/amb...-problems.html

Turned out to be the Router itself. Got a new one and it works just fine
