Google account disappearing from Samsung J7 prime

[Android Central Question]

Hi. Suddenly the my Google account on the phone seems to have vanished. Even the 'accounts' section under settings doesn't show Google. Play store is stuck. Gmail says can't run while the play centre is being updated. Help pls.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Do you mean that it says Google Play Services is updating? How long have you waited to see what happens when it finishes updating?
