Why my phone is saying app not allowed by device owner

Go to send a message on my Huawei p smart 2019 and it's comes up app not allowed by device holder I cannot get in to change the sms

You might have a device admin app (most likely Google Play, Settings or Email) that restricts it for some reason. Another reason could be the carrier (although idk why that would happen). More info on what the app is (along with a screenshot as B Diddy requested) would be very useful.

You could always try rebooting your phone.
