I'm having some problems with Google Music showing incorrect metadata for two of my mp3s:

    (1) The ² in Mariah Carey's "E=MC²" appears like a comma (not exactly a comma but is definitely not like an exponent)

    (2) "...Baby One More Time" keeps appearing with unknown artist and unknown album, despite having the correct metadata.

I've checked with Groove Music and it's displaying the way I want it to. I hope anyone has a fix for this. Thanks.

Welcome to Android Central! Where did you get the mp3 files from? Were they ripped from the CDs, or did you download them from somewhere?

    Downloaded from the internet.

If you got them from unofficial sources, it's hard to say what kind of oddness might be included in the ID3 tag data. Consider looking for those physical CDs at your local public library and ripping the tracks from there.
