bluetooth is disconnecting when my phone screen times out

[Android Central Question]

I connect my phone to my stereo via bluetooth then it plays until my screen times out then it pauses and disconnects. I have factory reset my phone, downloaded all new apps current versions, deleting cach, signing into other accounts on my device and it still happens. I signed into my spotify account on another android device and it worked like usual. wondering what to do?

Any Suggestions?

Maybe keep the screen timeout longer , you looked and restrictions in Spotify or you using any power saving modes?

(OP here) I'm not in any power saving modes, but yes I suppose if I kept my phone on the whole time it would keep playing (like youtube) but it worked fine like a week ago and was playing fine when I would sleep the phone after I started playing music then just control it thru my car stereo.?

does anyone know if spotify has put out any updates, maybe I could go back to a previous version?

So I just tried it again this morning and it just pauses about 3 seconds after i press play. screen doesnt have to be timed out. Ive done a full phone factory reset, installed spotify, deleted my cache, tried it on wifi, on 4g and with both on, and tried it on my account on another android. it worked fine on my account on another android device.

Safe mode , it's different as it disables 3rd party apps

Yeah , this won't work ..to exit out just restart the phone
