Force use of AUX even when Bluetooth is enabled

I own a Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime. I have been playing music through my car stereo through the AUX jack with no problems for a year. Recently, I had a telemetry system installed which requires to connect to my phone via Bluetooth. This works, but since I now have Bluetooth enabled on my phone, music playback attempts to use Bluetooth as well. The audio quality is worse and the signal is interrupted frequently. How can I force my phone to send audio via AUX even when Bluetooth is enabled?

Open the Bluetooth connection for the car stereo and disable Media.

Open the Bluetooth connection for the car stereo and disable Media.

This should be done on the phone. Go to its Bluetooth settings and find the one for the car. Select it, and that's where the media option is.
