Blu vivo xl Bluetooth intermittent issues

[Android Central Question]

My Blu vivo xl Bluetooth is behaving weird. When I connect the phone to my car Bluetooth to use the handsfree, the phone Bluetooth keeps going off and on again. I tried other phones and it works ok, so there is definitely some issue with my phone Bluetooth.

Any suggestions??

Welcome to Android Central! What do you mean that the phone Bluetooth keeps going off and on? Do you mean that when you're speaking on the phone, the phone audio cuts in and out? Or do you actually see the Bluetooth connection in the phone's Bluetooth indicator show that it's disconnecting and reconnecting to the car stereo repeatedly?

What I see is on the car display the Bluetooth connection going on and off (on the handsfree icon in the car display)

Like I wrote I tried different phones and this didn't happen

Is the phone in a car mount, or is it in your pocket? If it's in your pocket, then it's possible your body could be interfering with the Bluetooth signal.

THat doesn't mean your phone is faulty. It may have a version of Bluetooth which is newer and not compatible with your car.

The phone is never in the pocket. If it's the Bluetooth version how can I install a compatible one?

When phones get updated for some stupid reason the Bluetooth upgrades are not backwards compatible so you will either need to flash your device with the older version or see if there's an update for your car's BT module
