Why is my microphone the only thing I can use to text on my messages on my Kyocera duraforce ppro 2

I can use my microphone on my messages but I can’t seem to get my keyboard back up.

Not sure why I'm seeing more and more of this same question. Anyway, have you tried changing the input method? Open any text field, one where you only have the option to use voice to text would probably be the one I would open, then pull down the notification bar, touch the keyboard to open your keyboard options and make a different selection.

Or look for a tiny "keyboard" icon (a little box with a few dots in it) and tap that (if you see one) to get back to the keyboard.
