Squeeze Ctrl cannot display PDF files

[Android Central Question]

In LMS, the "Music & Artist Information" plugin allows for listing extra artwork, text files and album booklets in PDF form.

With Orange Squeeze, the long push on an album title creates a pop-up window with a list of data elements, including "other info", and when tapped, this item will display the various non-musical files in the album folder. If a booklet.pdf file is present, tapping its name will download and open the pdf in Acrobat Reader and display the booklet.

With Squeeze Ctrl, tapping the pdf file name in the details window produces an error message of the type "cannot open with this equipment".

In a Windows PC environment, the browser-based UI allows for pdf files to be embedded inside the UI itself (rather than having it in a separate Acrobat window), which is even better.

Squeezez Ctrl ? What is the problem, any interoperability issue ?

The problem is that the device doesn't have a pdf reader installed. Phones don't open files, apps do.
