I have an iPhone 8 Plus and a Galaxy S10E. When I send a 30-second video by MMS with the iPhone, it looks great on the receiving end. The same video sent with the Galaxy is pixelated, out of focus, and looks like crap. Every Android phone that I have ever had has done this (and I have owned many). Why can’t Google or someone get it right?

When you send it using the iPhone, is it going to another iPhone? If so - that's likely going through the Messages protocol, which does not have file size the limitations of MMS. The Samsung for sure is using MMS, which simply can't handle the file sizes produced by modern-day devices. RCS, a service Google is actually pushing hard to get people moved to, is intended to resolve this.

For now, the best option is to upload the video to your Google Photos or some other cloud, and share the link privately with the recipient. Or use a messaging platform that can handle videos better (like Telegram). This would mean the other person would also have to use that messaging app, but at least that's cheaper than having to buy a whole iPhone just to have this feature.
