I am using SPIN browser and its suite of apps to block adult content.

Unfortunately Cameleon browser uses an app overlay and bypasses all app blockers I can find. Can anyone suggest a way to permanently block this without rooting the phone?

EDIT

Not sure if I was clear but Cameleon browser also bypasses SPIN browser.

I am asking how to block Cameleon WITHOUT rooting the phone

Dumb response

I clearly said Cameleon browser bypasses SPIN. SPIN cannot block it because it just overlays SPIN browser.

There are blocking apps that could do more but they require rooting rhe phone. Im trying to find a different way.

I clearly asked why you don't stick with SPIN? Is Chameleon a pre-installed browser on your phone? Or is there a specific reason to use it as your personal choice that another browser can't satisfy? BTW What device and Android version are you running?

The question seemed rhetorical

I am blocking adult content hence using SPIN but the person easily installs Cameleon browser that bypasses SPIN. Its not a preference for me and its not preinstalled, I want it blocked. Im on a Samsung A50 with Android Pie (9).

Th OP doesn't want adult content on the device and SPIN works fine for this. The problem is other browsers can be installed. You need control over the phone to do that as per the link. Correct me if I'm wrong but that was my understanding.

Nothing rhetorical, just trying to get an understanding of the situation as small bits of information make it difficult to offer a solution.

About the only way to totally block installation would be kid's mode or a kiosk app, either one passworded with a strong, unguessable password.

Or accept the fact that older teens will look at porn, phone or no phone. Block it on the phone and he'll find another way.
