How can I stop google news from playing every time my alarm goes off (Galaxy S9+)

I've talked to Tmobile, Samsung & Google support as well as looking for a resolution on my own with no luck.

Go into the stock alarm and tap sounds turn off Bixby alarm

Welcome to Android Central! If that doesn't help, then in the Alarm app, expand your alarm (by tapping the down arrowhead) and see if the Google Assistant Routine is turned on for that alarm. If you see a minus sign next to it, that means it's turned on -- tap the minus to turn it off.
