    I don't like the google apps. I have 3rd party apps to replace the google ones. Spark for email, One Calendar for the Calendar, Here for maps. I am looking for a voice assistant that allows me to set these apps when I ask for information.

    Have you tried setting those apps as your default email, calendar and map apps? (Settings > Apps, go into each of your current default apps and delete defaults.) Then try the Google Assistant and see if a choice of apps comes up. Choose the one you want as the default and tap Always.

    (Assistants don't have defaults, phones do.)
