My Samsung Tab A 6 gives the message Couldn't download update, a network or server error occured.

Until recently I could check for updates and received a message that my tablet is up to date. What went wrong now. It doesn't even reach the stage og checking whether there is an update!

Welcome to Android Central! How old is that tablet? The server for the updates could be offline, which might happen if that device is no longer getting updates.
