How can I make YouTube links in Firefox open in the YouTube app instead of Firefox?

Android Central Question

I just switched to a Galaxy Note 10+ from an iPhone X. On my iPhone whenever I clicked a YouTube link no matter which browser, the link always opened the YouTube app. However on the note 10, clicking on a YouTube link from the Firefox browser just opens the video in a new tab. It does work from the Samsung internet browser, but is there a way to make it work from Firefox?

When the video is playing, check the menu options in both the app (upper right 3-dot) and the top of the page. Often times there is a menu option that says "open in YouTube".

As for directly opening YouTube app, I have not seen a FireFox option for that. :-(

Welcome to Android Central! Also, check the Firefox settings and see if there's an option to Open Links In App. If that's turned on, then it won't look for the native apps for things like YouTube.
