Apps don't auto startup on some BLU phones

Hello

I am using an app which is supposed to automatically start whenever the phone boots.

It performed as documented on earlier models of BLU phones.

On later BLU phones (for example the V5 I just bought, running Android V9), the app does not auto-start, but runs fine once I start it.

App manufacturer says this is phone-vendor specific and there likely settings on the phone to enable auto-start of apps. Anyone know where these settings are please?

The specific app in question is MacroDroid.

Welcome to Android Central! Check the system settings for the Battery Optimization menu, and try turning off optimization for that app.

1. Settings
2. Battery
3. Auto Launch Management
4. App Auto Launch
5. Enable auto-launch of my app (MacroDroid)
