Hey all. Just finally updated my galaxy s8 to pie. Everything is fine. However I have lost ALL my saved wifi passwords! Literally had hundreds as my job requires me to work in many many different places around the country. Any advice? They were absolutely backed up to Google as I've upgraded phones in the past and still kept all my passwords

I've had mixed results with relying on Google to backup passwords. Unfortunately I'm not savvy enough to know if/how to recover yours (assuming they are backed up anywhere), but I'd suggest going forward that you consider a dedicated password manager. I prefer Last Pass, but there's many out there and with different features. This way you can easily keep track of them, have redundant backups, cross platform functionality, and more.

    Good luck with it.

I find that taking scrrenshots and saving to the cloud a good way to cya when doing system changes.

They are saved to the cloud. Saved to Verizon, Google, and Samsung. But apparently there is no way to manually restore them
