Android Central Question

Hello there,

When I attached a NTFS formatted USB pen drive to an android pie phone, the phone didn't recognize it and prompted to format. So I formatted it. Now I am able to access it within phone. What I need to know is,

1. If I copy some data from the android phone to pen drive, then can I access the copied pen drive data from a windows 7 PC ?

2. What is the file format of the pen drive ? Is it fat32 or exfat ?

Connecting the phone directly to the PC via the data cable doesn't work. So, this method.

Thanks in advance.

1. Yes
2. Depends on the size. Generally anything less than 64GB is likely be FAT32
You should be able to transfer file direct to PC. Make sure you select this option from the dropdown when you connect
