Android Central Question
Hello everyone! I recently got my Samsung Galaxy S9 and as soon as I started using it, I noticed leeter H crossed icon in my status. Does anyone know what is it and how to use it?
Is it on the left side or right side of the status bar?
That's your reception , not good which carrier?Yes, that's the one. I tried almost everything, I also read a lot of topics on forums, but I didn't find nothing like this.
When you turn mobile data off it will Indicate no serviceWhen I turn on mobile data, I have only H icon. But when I turn it off, it's crossed. I never seen it before.
But, cellular bars show 4 out of 5, and wi-fi should take over anyway. That's your reception , not good which carrier?
Yeah OP getting H or H+ is service indicator, like you would see 4g or 4glte the bars will always remain thereBut, cellular bars show 4 out of 5, and wi-fi should take over anyway.
Are you thinking that's supposed to be "H+" ? Seems mighty small to be the cell network type.
Hows your service with it on H and data ?I know the meaning of this icon, I just can't seem to move it from my status bar. I didn't notice that anyone else have this problem when they turn off their mobile data.
Actually that might be it. It just may not have the bands to get better than H+I have to mention that my cousin sent me this phone from USA. I'm in Europe. It is from Verizon. Mobile data works, I got it unlocked on my network. But this H icon just can't dissapear.
It's your carrierSo in other words, there is not much I can do...
