    I noticed that with my new phone ( android 9 Pie) when I have face recognition enabled, smart lock by location doesn't work anymore. Is this by design ?
    For example when I'm at home the phone doesn't unlock by the trusted location anymore when I try to (I test it by avoiding looking at the screen so that it doesn't unlock with my face recognition).

    It could just be that the GPS location is off so the device doesn't believe you're home.
