Maybe you could switch aeroplane mode on before switching the phone off and see if it works as you want, but I wouldn't put much hope on this. And about the battery, as Rukbat said, try to avoid it. I think it's that or change your PIN number to a different one that you can easily remember.

I don't want to remember a light pin or disable sim pin. the idea was I save my sim pin into a password manager app on my Android device. When I need the sim pin, I open my password manager app and enter it.
the flight mode idea doesn't work. When this Sim Pin window appears, there's nothing you can do. I tried to get the notification center (it does not appear). doesn't work. or keep the power switch pressed. there is only power off, restart and emergency mode.
a question, which version of Android do you use? Can you activate flight mode when the Sim-Pin window appears?
