Why is my purple LED light blinking but phone is completely unresponsive?

I have an lg v20. I accidentally dropped it on the sidewalk and now it's unresponsive and the purple led light is blinking.

Sounds like you must of damaged something

An educated guess is that the motherboard cracked. Buying a new one is probably going to cost about the same as having someone open it, troubleshoot it and replace the motherboard (and if the screen has to be replaced also, it will be cheaper to replace the phone.) Amazon has them for around $180.
