Android Central Question

Hi. I am not allowed to use my phone at work, however, I can stream and listen to internet radio on it. How can I stop ALL calls to the phone? I can use DO NOT DISTURB - but have to set an exception to allow media otherwise the radio wouldn't work at all. If do this, the phone remains silent, BUT the Bluetooth speaker plays a ringtone (which is what I don't want) albeit not the tone that I have assigned. Airplane mode doesn't work either as I need to maintain data connection. I've also tried to use silent ringtones but the bt speaker still sounds. Thank you - I have Note 9

Try total silence - Your phone won't ring at all. How about turning your ringer all the way off. I think you would get the same the same effect.

Or use airplane mode, then turn on WiFi or mobile data, whichever you use. Depending on the phone, that may - some phones do, some don't - keep it in airplane mode except for the data connection.

I believe Rukbat has a good solution. I've used this in the past and yep, no calls or notifications and still had data.

In this day and age though I wonder if WiFi calling would ring through??? I'm thinking DND might be another way to go. With DND you can schedule it, so it begins and ends with your work day and it doesn't totally stop texts it just silences them. So when you go to break your missed texts are all right there and not acting like they just showed up at 330 when you clocked out.

OR you may have to combine them both.
