    No 3rd party apps or power saving things turned on that I know of. Haven't changed anything, I think happened after that last update but it usually turns back off almost right away

    You still haven't mentioned which phone. It'd be worth testing it in Safe Mode.

    I am having the same issue since the last update on my S9. No third party apps or battery saver modes are turned on. I put my phone in safe mode and it did not revert. But as soon as I take it out of safe mode it goes back to the same issue. I have turned it on from the quick panel and the email app itself. It keeps randomly turning on and off.

    Welcome to Android Central! If it doesn't happen in Safe Mode, then some app you installed is probably causing the issue. You may have to uninstall apps one by one until the problem goes away, unless there's an app you suspect in particular. If this issue just recently started, then uninstall your most recently installed (or updated) apps first.

    Good question , hadn't heard back .
    You can try safe mode on yours see if it still happening
