Why can't I access application info from my app drawer?

[Android Central Question]

This stinks! I am on the android 7 edge, Which I LOVE. However when I enter the app drawer I tap on the app and typically you can go directly to app info. Something as simple as clearing cache needs to be done all the way via settings. I HATE this.
Am I missing something? All I get is "add to home" "select items " "uninstall "
I went into the app drawer settings and there is nothing there to adjust. I really love how my tablet just let's me enter all my applications via the drawer.
Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you long-pressing the app icon to bring up the App Info option? Are you running the stock launcher or a 3rd party one?
