That's correct, only certain devices do this by default, so I suspect there's
some setting somewhere that's making it do it. I did further testing, and the results are interesting. Take for instance the Coordinates for the Eiffel Tower.
48.858518,2.294717
When I type that into whatsapp and send it to someone else, the second half of the coordinates end up as clickable, i.e. 2.294717
If I add additional zeroes to both numbers, 48.8585180000,2.2947170000, the trailing numbers after the period shows up as clickable, i.e. 8585180000 and 2947170000.
Add another 1 to both numbers, 48.85851800001,2.29471700001 and the entire line now becomes normal (i.e. non-link) text.
So, it's definitely something in the system settings that's interpreting certain string patterns as a phone number.
