Shopping site checkout redirects me to Samsung internet

[Android Central Question]

Hi there. Recently i have been having problems with either Chrome or Paypal.
When i go on shopping sites using Chrome and click on PayPal checkout it redirects me to Samsung internet where a new website of that store opens up with an empty basket and i have to re-shop again and check out through Samsung internet instead... why is this? This was never a problem before on Chrome. Also i noticed my Paypal app doesnt open when checking out, a new tab opens up on a webpage. If anyone can help, i will be very grateful because its getting annoying now where i have to start my shopping all over again.

When you first open chrome does it ask to choose between Samsung internet and chrome ? Is chrome set as default web browser?I'll leave a link to register so you can communicate here , as a guest account you can't.https://forums.androidcentral.com/showthread.php?t=409154

Welcome to Android Central! Go to Settings>Apps​, select Samsung Internet, and see if you can clear its defaults.
