Whenever I place Apple Airpods case or pods on the lower right portion of my ASUS C434's keyboard panel (where my right wrist lays) - the screen goes completely black. I have a second screen plugged in via USB-C and that one stays on and operational. Screen returns to normal once I remove the Airpods. This happens regardless of if Chromebook or Aipods are plugged into power source.

That's probably where the sensor to detect the screen being closed is located. The Airpods or case contain something to trigger it (usually a magnet). I've gotten this when stacking two laptops before, or when having my tablet (in a case with a cover that can turn off the screen) on the keyboard of my Mac.
