Can Smart Switch transfer deleted information to new phone?

I recently got a Samsung s10 and used smart switch to transfer information from my previous phone (Samsung s8). I had some deleted information on s8 that showed up on my s10. Passwords from samsumg pass to be specific. Is it possible that smart switch was able to transfer deleted information into my new phone?
