Welcome to Android Central! Do you mean it isn't auto-focusing? The auto-focus mechanism might be stuck. Give the back of the phone a few moderate-strength whacks with the palm of your hand and see if that helps. This can help jostle the auto-focus mechanism, in case it's stuck, and get it back on track.

Need more info. Blur comes from three possible places.

- Out of focus: Could be a stuck focus mechanism. Could be not enough light for the camera to focus. It could be that your target does not have enough contrast to let the camera judge the focus.

- The subject moved: You need to increase the shutter speed to freeze the subject. This usually means either adding more light or increasing the ISO or both. If your camera has a "sports" mode, give that a try.

- Your shaky hands moved the camera: You need to increase the shutter speed (see above) or use a tripod or other brace to hold the camera still.

If you join for free, you can upload an example image so that we can see what you are seeing.

Or, if you don't want the increase in noise from an increased ISO, and can't control the shutter speed, and the subject is moving steadily, follow the subject and shoot. The background will be blurred, the subject will be in focus. (In that situation, you can't have them both in focus at the same time.)
