why suddenly my wifi is giving slow speed on my phone(Mi A1), but providing great speed in laptop?

[Android Central Question]

So, I'm using Xiaomi A1 currently running on Android 9, connected to tp link wifi router. Suddenly wifi speed on my phone has got super slow which from 30Mbps to 2Mbps while other devices like my laptop connected to same wifi network is getting speed of perfectly 30Mbps. I'm facing this issue from last couple of days and not being able to figure it out what is the problem and to fix it

Check the encryption in the router - some phones don't do well with AES, some don't do well with TKIP. Try switching (and forgetting the connection) and connecting again. (If you have to keep the router switched to something it wasn't on before, you'll have to reconnect your laptop and anything else that's been connected to that router by WiFi.)
