Android Central Question

So I've just upgraded my Google Drive limit and until now I've been uploading my photos in 'high quality' (so they don't count towards my storage limit). I now want to upload them all in 'original quality' and ideally replace the high quality ones with original quality ones. Does anyone know how I can do this?

Thanks

Welcome to Android Central! Tricky question -- I think once a photo has been backed up to Google Photos, the app remembers it's been backed up and won't do it again. If you want to try replacing the High Quality photos that are already backed up in your Google Photos cloud with Original Quality copies, then be careful -- if you delete a photo in Google Photos, and if that photos is still on your phone, then Google Photos will throw both instances in the trash.
