Disabling Device Lock

[Android Central Question]

Probably a very misleading title. Does anyone know if it is possible to block access to the device lock settings.
Basically I need to stop people changing or adding a lock pattern or pin code to my sons phone. I've checked every setting i can find and for once Jon Google hasn't helped. He has a Galaxy S9 if that has any relevance.

Don't think it's possible. Setting a lock screen is what you would do to prevent others from messing with the settings.

Might be able to get an app that password protects the settings menu entirely.

You can try to set it up like a school or work phone and add administrator privilege prevent changes .
