Blue Tooth Calls not dialing

[Android Central Question]

I have a Galaxy Note 9 and recently have not been able to get my hands free calling to work in my car. The call will start to dial and then an error message comes up on the car screen saying "Dialing failed".
The bluetooth works just fine when playing Apps on the phone. I have tried turning bluetooth off and on, re-pairing the phone, etc. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

What vehicle? Maybe your car's bluetooth needs a update.
