Trying to download ringtones on my phone and it will not let me this is a new phone

I went from my Android to a Samsung Galaxy yesterday and I cannot download ringtones. Is there an app I need to be able to download

Which phone?
Which version of android?
Which app is doing the download?
What site is being downloaded from?
Where are the files supposed to be stored by the app?
What is the exact wording of any error message you are getting?

Welcome to Android Central! Don't bother using an app to download ringtones. Just find a sound file that you like on the web (which you can do on the zedge.net website), download it to the phone, then use a file manager app to move that sound file to the /Ringtones directory. It should then be available to use as a custom ringtone.

A Samsung Galaxy is an Android phone. ("Android" isn't the manufacturer, it's the system in the phone, and Samsung makes Android phones, not iPhones, not Blackberries, not, as far as I know, Windows phones.)
